Whilst at Robert Bird Group, David developed this scheme, which included: stabilisation and partial deconstruction of the historic Bazalgette wall containing the cast iron gas main; installation of RC temporary works which would eventually become permanent structure; and design of precast concrete biscuit roof to facilitate reinstatement without formwork.
