David Abrahams is central to the practice, supported by a network of trusted engineering specialists built up over his career. Technical leadership and responsibility always remain with David ensuring continuity, accountability and clarity of desired outcomes from instruction through to conclusion.

David Abrahams is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over 20 years’ experience delivering complex structural and construction engineering solutions in the UK and internationally.
His experience spans permanent and temporary works across new build, refurbishment, listed buildings, major infrastructure and nuclear facilities; covering complex lifting, temporary stabilisation, permanent strengthening, underpinning, top-down construction and re-design for DfMA.
His work supports strategic construction engineering decisions—such as strengthening in place of temporary works, or targeted remediation in place of demolition. Such decisions can unlock programme certainty, reduce risk and materially limit loss.
This depth of hands-on delivery experience underpins his work as an independent and impartial expert. He brings current, site-tested knowledge and a broad technical perspective to every instruction, supporting clear, defensible opinions that withstand scrutiny.
David’s design for Bank Station Temporary Truss was the winner of the 2019 BCIA Award for Temporary Works Initiative.
